Default any advice for farming as a warrior?

Hello guys, that is my first post here

I have Guild Wars Nightfall and i am wondering if you can give me any good advice for farming.
I have a W/Mo character 20 lvl. I really need some good money to buy some good armor. I am a little noob on this game

I know that some of you will might say: GO AND READ THE FORUMS but i didn't saw anything for nightfall farming as from what i saw so far.

thanks in advance for any advice mates.

I'm not too sure about Nightfall-only skills, it is hard to tell them apart when you have all 3 chapters. I just want to point out that the armor you can get at Consulate Docks is as good as any armor in the game, the more expensive stuff just looks different, it has the same stats. So don't stress over the expensive stuff if AL is your concern.

Like DeanBB, the armour at consulate docks is fine.
I use it for my necro and has the added advantage of being inscribable, so not only can you add runes but also insignias.

As for places in nf to farm, they are listed here on this very forum.
If you didn't see anything for nf, then you didnt look very hard, there are plenty there.

No one minds helping out newer players but we are not going to do everything for you.
You can search for things, just as easily as we can, and along the way, you will learn more about the game.

Solo farming isn't your only choice. Level your heroes to Level 20 and take them with you. An MM can do a lot of damage, especially if you go W/P personally and use Go For The Eyes a lot.

A warrior, an MM, a healer, and either a SF nuker or a Barrage ranger can be nasty. Or a second meleer (warrior, dervish, whatever).

Real1t m8, i don't think it will take you more than one minute to write GO THERE. i don't want any special advice or something like this. just one place that u think is good for farming in nightfall.

anyway. thank you all .

cataract warrior (notice i spelt your name correctly?)
why should i or anyone else for that matter tell you exactly where to go and farm, when it is all on these forums, and as i explained it's exactly in the section you posted in.

Get off your a*s and look like everyone else does.

There are a lot of places that are roughly equal. The question is which ones you happen to execute most effectively in.

For example, I do elementalist farming. I'm inferior to many other (younger) folks at quick reflexes/precision timing builds. But I suspect I'm one of the best geotankers around.

Maybe you'll do well with some kind of Grenth's Balance build. Maybe you're more of a Cyclone Axe tank kind of guy. We don't know either way. Try a few ideas and see what you like.

Look around, focus on the staying-alive part of each build, and play one that turns out to be easy for you.

Hi cataract warrior,

First of all, I need to apologize as my post isn't going to contain any 'real' answers to your question. However, I think I know what your problem is but all I can say at the moment is that there aren't many definitive guides written for solo Warrior farming that is based on NF-only skills. I've done a search myself but it seems that there aren't many for a NF-only warrior.

If you're trying to save up for 15K armors and can't get hold of any solo-farming builds, you can try looking for an area where monster levels are 20+, they are in abundance and you can kill rather quickly with a party of 6~8. For this, you'll need to try and see what's best for you as setup may vary between players and frankly speaking, I haven't tried playing much with my own warrior in NF so I can't advise much either. The returns aren't going to be as good as solo farming, but you'll be able to repeat the runs and still earn something. This is the most common way if you have no other methods; as suggested by Francis Crawford. Arkjok Ward and Marga Coast are 2 places that are good to start with. If you are far in the game and have access to wurms, you can take a small party with you and do random killing with those.

Another way is perhaps to play as another profession which you can find guides for in this forum, it's kinda like building a character meant for farming. You can use that character to do the farming to save up for gold to be used on your warrior. Before you dedicate time into that character, however, you'll need to make sure that the build is using NF-specific skills. I did a quick search through the forums but wasn't able to get one such example for you.

Lastly, if you don't mind buying other chapters, it will help your farming alot in the long run as you can see that there is an abundance of guides written for solo farming in other chapters or builds that uses skills in all 3 chapters. A W/Mo can do vermin farming still in Factions though it isn't as fast as before. However, if you buy all 3 chapters and have the patience, vermin farming is a definite place where you can get minimum 1k+ per full run easily with W/Mo (very easily in fact).

P.S. Good luck with your 15K armor.

One idea is to try and kill a lot of things using as few heroes as possible. For example, I bet you could clear a lot of Kourna with only a tank and a minion master; not even a monk.

(Maybe go W/P, since Go For the Eyes is a great skill to enhance minion damage.)

Going N/E for Glyph of Lesser Energy can help on speed when MMing.

I have a little offtopic question... since this is "the noob area" .....
I was wondering, what to do if I have just Factions.... by this, I mean, that I do not have certain skills like Dolyak signet... for my W/Mo.
So please tell me if there are some tutorials to farming just Factions (I saw the tutorials, they are for Factions but are based on Prophecies skills).

Thank you!

Just modify builds with skills you don't have...(For example using Triple Chop instead of Eviscerate) until they work for you.

What do you want? More armor = Watch Yourself, no knockdowns = Balanced Stance

why o why do people write this stuff.... as you can see the topic is named and it is for noobs obviously.... i have other characters, but i farm with my warrior since he has all of the quests completed....
so if you have something to say about the topic, please write it down... please don't search for conflict
I consider these forums to be helpful to other people... I don't want sarcasm
But if you know the answer to the question you can write it down, or just say the solution does not exist

Francis Crawford, srry for being a bit of an a** with this smart remark but you could always try looking in the "solo farming" part of the forum since, in fact, solo farming is most profitable but you know it doesnt take anyone with a frickin degree to know that... and then again those that do, and plenty of other people, if driven enough, will actually do a little research and find stuff out for themselves and not beg others for information when its right there in front of them...

Have a nice day
